Interested in being part of East Side? Here’s how you can get involved:
Host an Event
Be it potluck, skillshare, performance, lecture, or movie night, East Side exists in order to bring the Houston community together, and we need YOU to make that happen! We are home to a variety of events, from punk shows to community meetings. If you would like to host an event at East Side, great! Email the collective at eastsidesocialcenter@gmail.com and we’ll get back to you. For the current list of events, check out the calendar.
Volunteer
We are always in need of committed folk to help with the business-side of things: finances, volunteer coordination, library organization, web maintenance, etcetera. You would have the option of becoming a member of the East Side Collective, or keeping it casual and jumping in when your free time permits. No matter how you fit into the picture, we need you!
Donate
If you’ve got old furniture, books, shelves, dishes, mops, buckets, or other miscellaneous items you might think are trash, hit us up – we might be able to use what you don’t need. Or, consider donating financially to help keep the space up and running.
Spread the word
Tell your friends about us. Better yet, help us out by handing out flyers to people you know.
